A successful young adult that obtained employment!!!
Meet Paul. He is 16 years old. Before Paul started working with A.T.I.A.D in April of 2017, the principle was concerned about him at East high school. Paul is scheduled to graduate in June and start Subway next week. Paul obtained the job 4-18-2017. This is what success looks like.
Meet Ciaros. This youth was in a middle of a tug a war amongst his parents. After a mediation November 14, 2016, Ciaros will start to see his dad every weekend. Every boy needs his dad. Instead of taking the lead in mentoring this young man, we reconnected Ciaros with his dad. This is success.
Meet Carribean. She was seeking employment and balance. She was watching her siblings way to much during the week. Which lead to arguments that lasted a year. Now her and her brothers are getting along better. She now takes acting classes so that she can pursue her career in acting. And now she works at Grater's Ice Cream as of January 2017. This is a success.
Meet Jericho. This young man was allowing his anger from his dad being absent in his life to take cover his attitude. Jericho went from feeling unloved by his brother and sister to realizing his siblings to love him. This is a success story because anger leads to violence in the African American community. We are glad to say that Jericho's dad reached out to our Ceo. Jericho hasn't seen his dad in 2 years. 5 months later after being in the program, A.T.I.A.D connected Jericho and his dad back together February 10, 2017.
Meet Shaquille Samuels. This young man enrolled into our Moral Therapy program March 7, 2016. Shaq needed to past his math section of the OGT test to obtain his high school diploma. With the help of our agency, this young man received his high school diploma in June of 2016 from Magic Johnson Bridgescape. Shaq went through trying times but he overcame the hurdles of life! He didn’t allow his circumstances to dictate his future
